we still have openings for seniors, maternity and newborn sessions but due to the cold weather and limited daytime schedules we are no longer booking family sessions for 2009. we are completely swamped around here shooting and editing family, wedding, commercial and senior sessions. i know many of you look forward to blog posts. i haven't been able to post as many as i would like but i promise i will once things settle down around here. we are taking names for our spring family sessions ... so please email us if you are interested so we can contact you in march. in the meatime ... here is a favorite family session we did recently with the holtgrieve family. my assistant lauren and i had so much fun photographing them doing their everyday things right in their back yard.

i'm heading out of town until next week but i wanted to quickly throw these on the blog. i loved this family session... they gave me complete freedom and i think everyone had a blast! the boys are huge baseball players ... so we had them play a little ball and then we headed to their favorite park!

These two adorable little girls have been coming to me for the past year . They have grown up to be such big, happy, beautiful girls and so full of life! i had so much fun photographing them a couple weeks ago. thanks leah and chad for allowing me the opportunity to document their first year. it was such an honor. i'm so happy for you guys ... the girls were such a joy! mom brought some lolipops for the end of the session ... soooo yummy and it make for great pictures! xxoo enjoy!

this little one definitely put me to work that morning. lily has the most beautiful blue eyes and i was determined to capture them but as most one year olds ... she was on the move. in her mind she wanted to explore the world! at the end of the session we let her splash around in the water at shafer park. she was in one year old heaven!
